Branden Albert was the 15th overall pick in the 2008
NFL Draft. At that time he was the highest picked offensive
lineman in history. Branden Albert had a very
difficult time with his grades all through high school and college,
failing the 9th grade twice. The only scholarship offered to
Branden was from Virginia, where he started immediately as a freshman.
Albert eventually overcame his scholarly struggles and became one of the
best offensive lineman in the NFL.
Branden Albert started almost every game for the
Kansas
City Chiefs from 2008 to 2010. With the Chiefs aquisition of
Jared Gaither, it is possible that Richardson will see some action
at left guard as well as left tackle.
