Casey Wiegmann was signed by The New York Jets as an
undrafted free agent in 1996. The
Kansas City Chiefs picked Wiegmann up in 2001 and he played until
2009 when he was traded to the
Denver Broncos. After only two seasons with the Broncos,
Wiegmann returned to the Chiefs. Casey Wiegmann is married to
Danni Boatwright from the hit TV show Survivor where she won $1,000,000.
Wiegmann remains on the Chiefs roster, though it
is not known what his role will be in 2011. Wiegmann is
considerably smaller than most NFL centers, as lineman are becoming
larger and larger every year. The Chiefs signed Rookie center
Rodney Hudson from Florida State in 2011.
Wiegmann officially retired from the NFL in
2012.
