Dexter McCluster was drafted by the
Kansas
City Chiefs in the 2nd round of the 2010 NFL Draft. Dexter
McCluster played his first season for the Kansas City Chiefs as a 3rd
down wide receiver and had minor success. In 2011, The Chiefs
moved McCluster to the position of running back and he adjusted well to
the position move. McCluster is known for his small size and
aggressive ball carrying style. At the end of most plays,
McCluster will most likely be seen flying several feet into the air,
much to his coaching staff's dismay. McCluster has a very fast and
wild running style, he is one of the most agile players in the NFL and
he is so small that he is often hard to see from behind the massive
offensive linemen. Constantly compared to Darren Sproles,
McCluster uses his size and speed to avoid tackles and gain YAC yards.
McCluster also
reminds many NFL analysts of former Houston Oiler hero Ernest Givens.
