^{Tamba Hali , known as "TambaHawk", a reference to the Chiefs' Tamahawk. He was a hot commodity coming out of Penn State into the 2006 NFL Draft due to a magazine article that came out covering his struggle to become a professional football player to help bring his mother to the United States. He had not seen his mother in 12 years. Tamba Hali was drafted 20th in the 1st round of the 2006 NFL Draft to the surprise of most pundits. He has an older brother who is also named Tamba. Hali started out at defensive end and was later moved to outside linebacker under the Todd Haley regime. Hali has produced double digit sacks for nearly every season and has been a Pro Bowler since 2010. He is also a blue belt in Jiu-Jitsu. It is thought by most that Tamba Hali's absense in the 2013 NFL Playoff game vs. the Indianapolis Colts was a major factor in the Chiefs subsequent loss 45-44 after blowing a 38-10 lead in the third quarter.}
